Uninstalled (and removed) the Qualcomm drivers I manually installed and then disabled the devices in device manager. So, yesterday, I went out and bought a Linksys wireless USB adapter. I wasn't able to stress the system because I was busy using it for work, but two days ago I was heavily using the system and got 3 BSODs within 3 hours. After switching to these my problems seemed to disappear. At this point, I uninstalled the Killer Suite completely, ran the killer cleaner (again) and used the standalone drivers posted on the MSI forums. I went through pretty much the same installation woes with install games on Steam and Origin after updating all of the drivers. I decided to keep in Windows 8 (non-Pro edition). So, I decided to go back to square one and restore back to the original factory install. I ran memtest86, prime95, furmark and none of them had any issues with testing for several hours at a time.

I even updated the BIOS and Firmware with discernible difference. I spent about a week struggling with different suggestions to other forum users on how to fix the Qualcomm driver issues (bigfoot double shot e2200/Wireless N-1102). I updated the Intel driver and I haven't had a BSOD from that driver since (that I know of). Using WinDbug64 for Windows 8.1 SDK I noticed that pretty much all of the driver issues pointed to the Intel graphics driver and the Wireless-N Qualcomm driver. I had repeated BSODs while installing multiple games from Steam and Origin. I then began installing all of my applications (Office 2013 Pro, VMWare, Steam, Origin, and some various MMO games). I also updated all of the device drivers from MSI and updated the nVidia driver directly from nVidia. Immediately followed up by installing all of the updates. I then upgraded the OS to Windows 8 Pro and then upgraded to Windows 8.1 Pro. I then installed ESET antivirus 5.x and installed all of the Windows updates. Once finished, I uninstalled several bloatware items (all the Symantec programs, bluestacks, etc) and left all of the MSI based programs alone. I immediately ran the MSI BurnRecovery tool and created myself 2 sets of backup disks. So after plugging in the battery and turning it on. Very nice, very fast, little bloatware to remove. I got my new laptop in the middle of December. I just wanted to see if anyone had suggestions or comments on my BSOD woes.
